Inspiring Conversations with Brian Bennett of Beaver State Photography

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Bennett.

Hi Brian , so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I got into photography as a child it all started when my grandpa gave me a 35mm film camera and said go take photos of sunset, animals or whatever I wanted to photograph. I kinda gave it up after he passed but I thought he would want me to not stop so in early 2019 I bought a digital camera and got back to photographing this I liked and in 2025 I started my photography business

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No it hasn’t been a smooth road getting to where I am. At the start I took photos that I would consider not up to par but I learned how to use my camera and Lightroom but adapted and over came that and now take photos that I think are worth the price

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I mostly do Landscape, Wildlife, Coastal, Astro, Air Shows, Boats, and in the spring summer and fall you will find my at Woodburn drag-strip. I sell prints, canvases, puzzles, post cards, metal, calendars, if you can put a picture on it I will sell it

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
