Community Highlights: Meet Natanhna Morales of Body Mind Holistic LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natanhna Morales.

Hi Natanhna, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey into massage therapy started in a pretty unexpected way. When I was 18, my stepmom jokingly suggested I go to college while I was still living at home, and I found myself choosing between massage therapy and physical therapy. I ultimately chose massage because I felt I could make a more immediate, hands-on impact in people’s lives.
I’ve been practicing since 2007, and over the years my work has naturally evolved. In 2017, I pursued additional training in cupping therapy and specialized lymphatic drainage, which completely shifted the way I approached the body. I began working with more clients dealing with autoimmune conditions, chronic inflammation, and complex health concerns, and I saw how powerful these modalities could be when used intentionally.
A big turning point for me was learning how to connect the dots between different techniques and create real, consistent outcomes—rather than offering isolated services. My work became less about individual modalities and more about understanding how to support the body as a whole.
My approach is also deeply personal. I’ve experienced inflammation, autoimmune challenges, chronic stress, and trauma myself, so I understand what many of my clients are going through on a real level. That perspective has shaped the way I show up in my practice—with both intention and care.
Although I’ve been in the field for many years, I officially started building my own business in 2016, and it wasn’t until 2022 that I truly stepped into it with confidence and clarity. Since then, I’ve refined my offerings into more structured, results-driven treatments, with a strong focus on lymphatic work.
What sets my work apart is my focus on creating measurable, consistent outcomes. I take a structured approach to the body—working from the superficial layers deeper, supporting the body’s natural systems rather than forcing change. Lymphatic work, in particular, is a foundation of my practice because of how reliably it supports both relaxation and overall function.
Beyond the physical results, my goal is for every client to feel safe, seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. I believe that when the body is supported properly, it has the ability to restore itself in ways that go far beyond just relieving tension.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My path hasn’t been completely smooth, and that’s actually part of what has shaped the practitioner I am today. When I first started massage in 2007, I was still figuring out my own mental health, dealing with challenges I didn’t fully understand at the time. Building confidence in myself and my abilities took years, and it wasn’t until 2022 that I really stepped fully into my business with clarity and focus.
Along the way, I’ve also faced personal health challenges like inflammation, autoimmune issues, and chronic stress. Experiencing these firsthand gave me a deeper understanding of what many of my clients go through, and it pushed me to seek out specialized training—like lymphatic drainage and cupping therapy—to provide results that truly make a difference.
I’ve learned that the struggles aren’t setbacks—they’re part of the journey. They’ve given me empathy, insight, and a dedication to creating treatments that are both effective and supportive. Each challenge along the way has reinforced my belief that healing is holistic: it’s about the body, the mind, and the emotional experience all working together.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
At Body Mind Holistic, I provide trauma-informed, results-driven massage and bodywork designed to support the body’s natural healing and alignment. I specialize in gentle fluid and circulatory support for swelling, inflammation, detox, and immune support; post-surgical care and scar tissue release; chronic pain relief, tension release, and improved mobility; as well as nervous system regulation for stress, burnout, and overwhelm. I also offer full-body therapeutic massage for structural alignment and incorporate castor oil therapy to support digestion, circulation, and overall body resets.
All sessions are body-led, performed in a calm, toxin-free environment, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. What sets me apart is my structured, outcome-focused approach. I work thoughtfully through the body, addressing layers of tension and supporting the body’s natural systems to create lasting relief and restoration. Clients often tell me that just my touch feels healing and that they leave feeling both physically and emotionally supported.
I’m most proud of the safe, nurturing environment I’ve created—one where clients feel seen, heard, and cared for. Beyond the physical results, my goal is for every client to experience balance, restoration, and empowerment on their healing journey.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was a mix of many things—shy at times, but friendly, caring, and always trying to help others. I had a vivid imagination and loved art and music, which were the spaces where I could feel safe and express myself. I was sensitive, strong-willed, intuitive, and creative, and people often noticed my ability to connect and care deeply.
Even as a child, I was drawn to hands-on activities and helping others. One formative experience was in elementary school, when a non-verbal classmate in a wheelchair struggled to connect with other kids. I instinctively spent time with her, learning the impact of simply seeing, hearing, and sharing space with someone. That early understanding of connection and empathy has stayed with me, shaping the way I approach my work today.
Though my childhood wasn’t without challenges, I was encouraged to pursue art, sing, and work hard—even when things didn’t come easily. Those experiences instilled resilience, creativity, and a deep desire to support and serve others, which naturally led me toward a career in therapeutic bodywork.
