Check Out Alana White, Siena Holman’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alana White, Siena Holman.

Hi Alana White, Siena Holman, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
We had worked together previously and knew we would be a good fit. So as our leases came up at our different locations we decided to take a chance mid pandemic (early 2021) and open our own studio. We signed our lease in February, and opened for business in April. We just celebrated our 5 year anniversary!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We feel very fortunate that doors kept opening for us, from our building location, to creating our brand, and finding our community that has supported us through the years. We have of course experienced challenges, and new experiences, that have educated us in many ways. From business operations, hiring and training employees, to having babies, and moves in our personal lives. Our third business partner, recently moved to another state and with that brought the challenge of navigating a buyout, it was such a great learning opportunity and really showed us where our gaps in knowledge were. As sad as we were that she moved, it really brought us closer and made us realize why we all started this business together in the first place. We are proud of ourselves for navigating those challenges and are ready for the next chapter.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
We are licensed estheticians, who specialize in full body waxing, sugaring and skincare treatments, such as dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, hydroglow, and our highly customizable facials.
We are especially known for our Brazilian waxing and sugaring.
We are most proud of our ability to make everyone feel comfortable and safe in the treatment room.
We have fun and love building relationships with our clients, while still maintaining a high quality of work and attention to detail.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Being in the beauty industry there is constant change in trends. However we see a big shift towards barrier repair, deep hydration and a step back from a lot of over and misused over the counter actives.
