Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Greenberg.
Hi Jeremy, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started 97 Switch in Chicago in 2013 with a simple belief: businesses deserve thoughtful digital experiences that not only look great, but actually help them grow. What began as a branding, web design, and digital marketing agency evolved through strong partner relationships, referrals, and a focus on delivering strategic, high-quality work. In the early years, I handled nearly everything myself — from sales and strategy to project management and problem-solving — which gave me a deep understanding of both the creative and operational sides of running a business. Over the past 12+ years, 97 Switch has grown into an award-winning, nationally recognized agency serving partners across industries like hospitality, luxury real estate, financial services, IT, and career advancement. Along the way, I’ve learned that building a successful company is just as much about adaptability, communication, and leadership as it is about design and marketing. Today, we continue to help brands create stronger connections with their audiences through intentional strategy, branding, web experiences, and lead generation, while also exploring how emerging technologies like AI can create even greater business impact.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Like many entrepreneurs, one of the biggest challenges early on was wearing every hat at once — balancing sales, strategy, operations, project management, and leadership while growing the business. Building a service-based company also requires constant adaptation as technology, marketing trends, and partner expectations evolve. COVID created major challenges for both our team and our partners, forcing businesses to quickly rethink how they operated and communicated. More recently, the rapid rise of AI has introduced another major shift, pushing agencies and businesses alike to rethink workflows, creativity, and digital experiences. Through it all, those challenges helped shape 97 Switch into a stronger, more adaptable company.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about 97 Switch?
97 Switch is an award-winning branding, web design, and digital marketing agency that helps businesses create stronger connections with their audiences through intentional strategy and thoughtful digital experiences. Since 2013, we’ve partnered with organizations across industries including hospitality, luxury real estate, financial services, IT, and career advancement, helping them elevate their brand presence and generate meaningful business results. Our work spans branding, custom website design and development, SEO, paid advertising, content strategy, and lead generation, with a strong focus on aligning marketing efforts with long-term business goals.
What sets 97 Switch apart is our combination of strategic thinking, creativity, and partnership. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions or chasing trends for the sake of it. Instead, we focus on understanding each partner’s business, audience, and goals so we can create marketing and digital experiences that are both authentic and effective. We’re especially proud of the long-term relationships we’ve built over the years and the trust partners place in us to help shape and grow their brands. As technology continues to evolve, including the rise of AI, we’re also focused on helping businesses adapt thoughtfully while maintaining strong human-centered branding and communication.
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Over the next 5–10 years, I think the branding, web, and digital marketing industry will become significantly more consolidated as AI continues to reshape how work gets done. Many traditional services that once required large teams or long timelines are becoming more automated, which will change expectations around speed, pricing, and deliverables across the industry. I also think we’ll continue to see the lines blur between agencies, consultants, technology providers, and other professional service firms as businesses look for more integrated partners that can combine strategy, creativity, technology, and execution under one roof.
At the same time, I believe this shift creates a massive opportunity for agencies and service providers that are willing to evolve. The companies that succeed will be the ones that refine their offerings, adapt quickly, and focus on delivering deeper strategic value rather than commoditized production work. As AI accelerates change, businesses will still need trusted partners to help them navigate positioning, brand identity, customer experience, communication, and growth strategy in a rapidly evolving landscape. In many ways, I think human insight, adaptability, and strategic thinking will become even more valuable as technology becomes more accessible.
