Today we’d like to introduce you to Hanna Antolik.
Hi Hanna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Rise Cycle Fit Co. was founded by Sophia Sheldon, Whitney Johnson and Hanna Antolik back in 2024. But the vision for RCFC started years before that. The trio were working for a large indoor cycling franchise and were frustrated with the sales tactics and lack of genuine connection between the brand and clients. They knew they could do it better!
What originally started as an opportunity to license established brand Rise Cycle Co. in Santa Rosa California; quickly turned into Sophia becoming the company owner and extending the business to Beaverton, Oregon.
The beautiful studio was built from the ground up. Starting as just gravel and walls, it slowly began to take shape. Two separate class rooms were framed out, plumbing for restrooms and a shower were laid, beautiful matte granite slabs sourced, custom wallpaper mural applied, state of the art audio dialed in, and our pride and joy chandelier hung over the front desk. Every feature meticulously thought through for beauty and function thanks to SSDesignHub.
Our team is our Family! Each instructor and studio coordinator were hand selected not only based on their capabilities, but also on their connection to our vision. We are building a community. A safe place where people can come as they are and work together to build a strong and healthy self. Our clients are not dollar signs or “butts on bikes”; they are part of our family.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting a business is a hard and LONG process, especially with a complete build out. The word “permits” is still a little triggering almost 2 years later now!
Thankfully we had a really passionate team and VERY supportive and loyal community cheering us on along the way.

Rise Cycle Fit Co. specialized in rhythm based group fitness classes. Offering indoor cycling, sculpt and barre; all under one roof with one membership! Offering these three modalities was critical for us as were sought to create a well rounded fitness routine that would never leave you bored but always challenged!
What really sets up apart is our amazing community and our commitment to the philosophy that fitness should be fun! It is important but does not have to be so serious. Laughter is just another version of core exercise.
Can you talk to us about how you think about risk?
Opening is fitness studio in the PNW is a huge risk! The area is very saturated with great exercise options and unfortunately fitness is prone to fads and trends. But we knew the reward far outweighed the risk because we were building something more than just another place to exercise. We were building a community that extends beyond the walls of our business. It’s a commitment, lifestyle, a family.
