Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Humphrey.
Hi Kyle, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
We are a family owned and operated RV business that started in storage and now a full service RV business and even into Campgrounds. After multiple different service related business’ we started our forever storage business and our goal was to provide a different type of storage facility where we help own your RV and/or boat through helpful pre-trip services such as training and cleaning. We quickly grew to offer sales, rentals, service and training at our storage facility and campgrounds. We now operate as a small family operated multi-location business and we are still providing personal experiences that empower RV owners to own and use their RV’s. Our most recent purchase and love is Waterwheel RV Park and Campground in Chiloquin, OR located on the Williamson River. We have always loved this area and are excited to immerse our family in this amazing campground and meet everyone. We have enjoyed making improvements to this already beautiful property and recently opened a unique cabin onsite which people are loving. We are excited for everyone to experience this special place!!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been a lot of work but mostly smooth. The main challenge in owning businesses is usually development and compliance while growing. Overall it has been a fun learning experience. We live for the challenges and face each one head on which helps us grow and learn.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
In addition to our RV related business ventures my wife and I also work regular jobs. My wife works in the insurance industry and I am Firefighter. We both use our experience and knowledge to make our business decisions and moves. I love that we have been able to share our love for the outdoors and travel with others through our businesses.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Our mission is to provide good RV ownership and experience and I believe that is most important to our success. We love seeing people using their rig and getting outdoors and explore this beautiful area. If we can help ease that process, then we have been successful at our job.
