Today we’d like to introduce you to Bobby Bradshaw.
Hi Bobby, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I originated in AZ coming from 69th and Bethany Home in Glendale. While not the best area it was perfect to get my start in music. Glendale is where I established my first self made studio “EBE: EveryBody Eats”. At 23 I learned how to work on other peoples music and work with other artists.
After graduating HS I dedicated 5 years to teaching myself audio engineering and music production. I ended up joining a music group known as the BLVCK TRIVD in the PNW where we performed all over Oregon and Washington with some members branching out to LA, NV, FL, NY, GA,AZ, etc…
My music group and I were set to go on a mini tour right as COVID hit the USA. We had merchandise, music, tickets sold, the whole 9 yards. Unfortunately, when everything shut down the tour was canceled, my lease was up, so I moved back to AZ and rented a house back in Glendale. I ran my own studio out of this house and under a different name I managed to hit over 600,000 plays on Spotify alone. This showed me it was possible but if I could start over, I would change several things about how I presented myself and how I wanted to be perceived. So, that is what I did…I started over at 26 after 8 years making music under 1 name.
My old music and persona didn’t match who I became as I got older, so I needed to change. I matured, became a father, and my priorities changed drastically. Assuming Bobby Bradshaw the response has been much better and people seem to enjoy my music and presence much more.
I took 5 years off of performing in order to establish a career in corporate America. I wear a mask in order to separate who I am in my personal and professional life and who I want to be percieved as. This eliminates the limitations of subject matter and anything I say impacting my career. Thankfully, corporate America has been nice to me and my family but it is not what I truly want to do or who I truly am. At times it feels like I sold my soul to a corporation.
In 2026 I have managed to perform every 2 weeks since May until now (8/2/26). I have 2 new songs released “I love you too many times” and “M+U” with over 20 more on the way as singles and projects. Also shout out to my best friend and music friend Benny Cosmic who has helped me with music and collaborations.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Chasing dreams is never easy but if successful it is 100% worth it. The pursuit of doing what I love has led to hungry nights, almost homelessness, judgement from friends, family, and peers. Along the way you question if things will work, if it’s worth it, and if everyone was right.
Success takes determination, ambition, and obsession.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a self-taught audio engineer and artist. I started with an obsession with music and being exposed to DIY music at a young age showed me anyone can make/play music. I saw my father learn how to DJ and form a business from it. Now over 10 years later he still spins tracks.
I make honest and real music with the perspective of life and a long life lived. While still in my 20’s, I have lived a lot of life in a short period of time. I use my music as a way to cope with my traumas and hardships. I grew up on the west side of Phoenix and moved to the PNW, I have experienced a lot of different types of living, and I try to express that in my music with an ever-changing sound.
I strive to entertain, so each song is completely different from the last. Just going down the list on Spotify you will hear hip hop, pop, soul, punk, experimental, ballads, and boom bap rap. With a dense and complex vernacular each song has different subject matter and imagery painted with words and harmonies. My 2 favorite songs are currently on Spotify “I love you too many times” and “M+U”. I hope you get a chance to check it out!
