Today we’d like to introduce you to Andaman Rosse.
Hi Andaman, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I got into real estate accidentally but have absolutely fallen in love. Over the last 7 years I’ve learned and grown so much and I love seeing the impact that I get to have on people as they navigate what can be very challenging or stressful seasons.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s a really hard industry to break in to, I didn’t sell a house for my first 9 months but now that I’m 7 years in it is a lot easier and more consistent. Having a large pool of past and repeat clients sharing testimonials of their experience working with me means the world to me.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I represent all buyers and sellers but I have specialized in senior real estate. It is extremely challenging navigating the move if you’ve been in a home for 20-40 years, and it often comes with many complications outside of the real estate transaction that can make it even more challenging. I have developed a comprehensive white glove approach for seniors where I handle and pay for practically every facet of the move. Before the move I pay for professional organizers/packers, a pre-sale inspection, and professional moving services to move the senior into wherever they’re going whether it’s a senior living community or another home to age-in-place. After the move I coordinate the estate sale, contractors to perform repairs, and pay for best in class marketing including full staging, a custom website, and a zillow showcase listing. Past this, I have an amazing vendor list of trusted local professionals to help with anything else they’d need, from Senior Placement to CPA’s to Estate Attorneys.
My full listing package costs me between $4,000-5,000 with every home that I sell and it is incredibly effective at both making the seller’s life significantly easier, as well as ensuring their home sells for the most money as possible, as quickly as possible.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love the culture in Corvallis, the people are friendly and there are amazing restaurants and shows and great things to do locally. The thing I like least about Corvallis is that we don’t have an in n out.
