Check Out Jordan Stanton’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Stanton.

Hi Jordan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My artist name is EndTide. I am an electronic ddance music dj and producer born and raised in Oregon.

Having been a guitarist for over two decades I was on the search for the next musical adventure. After attending my first Excision show, the Thunderdome, I fell in love with heavy dubstep music and had to give it a try. The journey began three years ago and is now going strong!

I have released on multiple labels including Future Bass Records, Next Generation Music, and more. EndTide tracks have been supported by the biggest names in the industry including Excision, Jessica Audiffred, Vastive, and Hexxa.

Recently the track titled “the King,” off BossFight II EP was played at Bass Canyon, by Excision, to over 25,o0o attendees.

Locally, EndTide sets have been played at 45 East, Realm, the StrongHold, Club Trio, and Nova.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Surprisingly smooth. I found the right mentor and supporters right away. I feel blessed to be as far along as I am at this point.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Heavy Dubstep.

The EndTide signature sound is cinematic dubstep, with hard hitting crunchy drops, that make you want to dance, headbang, or go to war.

I often pull samples from famous video game and movie villains.

As a guitarist for over 20 years, I often play and record my own guitar tracks as intros to my tracks.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Surrounding myself with the right people and right mentors.

After that its a combination of curiosity and patience. Being willing to try lots and lots of new things until something sounds right.
