Today we’d like to introduce you to Aga Paschal.
Hi Aga, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
The story of Paschal Winery & Vineyards began in the 1980s, rooted in a vision and a few humble rows of vines. In those early days, Southern Oregon wasn’t even a blip on the global wine map. It took a true entrepreneur’s spirit and unwavering grit to see the untapped potential of this beautiful region.
Throughout the 1990s, our vineyards expanded, culminating in the official establishment of Paschal Winery in 1998. We started with the classics that love our unique terroir—Syrah, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir—crafting wines that spoke for themselves.
Today, our estate is renowned not just for what is in the glass, but for the world that surrounds it. Visitors are treated to breathtaking, 360-degree panoramic views where endless rows of vibrant vines meet the majestic, sweeping mountains. It is a green, lush paradise that perfectly captures the true, natural majesty of the Rogue Valley.
As we proudly approach our 25th anniversary of winemaking, Paschal has grown into a cornerstone of the local community. While our roots are firmly planted in Oregon soil, our heart belongs to our European heritage. We pair every bottle with old-world hospitality, bringing a unique flair and a warm, welcoming experience to everyone who steps onto the estate to take in the views.
From our family to yours, thank you for being a part of our story for a quarter of a century.
Salute!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Growing a winery isn’t just about tending to the vines; it’s about nurturing the community that gathers around them. As the years went on, we faced a beautiful, humbling challenge: we couldn’t stop saying “Yes.” When the community wanted great food, local art, and live music, our tasting room naturally evolved into a vibrant cultural hub. But our passion for hosting quickly caught up with us, and the demand began to outpace our space. True to our European heritage, turning people away just isn’t in our DNA. We always want to say yes.
To gracefully accommodate this overwhelming love, we rolled up our sleeves and expanded. Today, Paschal features a stunning new cellar room, an open-air courtyard, and five dream cottages for immersive overnight stays. We even converted our original wine storage into a grand, 100-person event venue. Yet, even as our footprint grows, the demand keeps rising—and we welcome it with open arms. There is always room at our table.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
We craft premium, estate-grown mature vines while serving as a premier hospitality and cultural hub. We specialize in cleanly farmed varietals that thrive in our terroir—specifically Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir and Syrah—alongside high-end experiential hospitality that blends wine, food, and entertainment. Wines are made in small batches with personal attention to every detail. But of course, we are more than a winery, over the years we have become a destination.
We are known for our high-energy, year-round experience and community events. We are the valley’s go-to hotspot for live music every Sunday, our signature Cork ‘N’ Fork dinners every Wednesday evening, massive summer concerts, and major cultural events like our annual Polish Festival and so much more.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
We pride ourselves on being the friendliest, most welcoming place in the valley. While we serve high-end, premium wines, we are entirely non-intimidating and leave the wine snobbery at the door. Our mission is to absolutely spoil every single customer who walks through our gates, ensuring they feel right at home from the moment they arrive.
