Today we’d like to introduce you to Wade Sewell.
Hi Wade, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started tattooing in 2017 in Eugene Oregon. In 2022 I moved to coosbay to be closer to family, and after working with some people in the area, I eventually decided open my own business to give my clients, and the artists who want to work with me, a clean and peaceful environment to do so.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Retaining my clients and giving them a great experience has been easy, but finding the time to renovate and do things outside of the actual tattooing aspect is always difficult, I’m a working artist primarily and that’s where the majority of my time is spent.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an award winning tattoo artist, i specialize in large scale creepy black and grey, and large scale bright and beautiful color pieces.
I have clients come from all over the state to get tattooed. Additionally I have high value guest artists come to visit from all over the country to work with me and serve our community with amazing art, which I’m proud of.
What sets me apart from other businesses, I think, is giving my clients a completely private and individual experience. I like to have in depth consultations before booking appointments, and when an appointment is booked, I typically will only focus on that client for the entirety of the day. I’m creative and love finding solutions for cover ups as well, and since being here I’ve managed to complete some pretty crazy cover ups projects that others wouldn’t take on.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Skateboarding with my friends for sure!
