Hi Maxine , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Wolfeheart Captures was inspired by my own wedding in June 2025. I wanted candid videos that captured the little moments, voices, and emotions of the day without asking my loved ones to be behind their phones. After realizing this type of service wasn’t really available in Bend, I combined my background in social media and content creation to create what I had wished for on my own wedding day. Since then, I’ve fallen in love with capturing weddings and giving couples a way to relive not just how their day looked, but how it felt.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One of my biggest challenges was learning the wedding industry itself. I was fortunate to work alongside incredibly talented vendors at some beautiful, high-end weddings early on, and I quickly learned that there’s so much more to the job than capturing great content. Understanding vendor etiquette, anticipating moments, working seamlessly alongside photo and video teams, and knowing when to step in or step back were all things I had to learn quickly. Establishing myself as a trusted wedding professional, not just someone with a phone, has been really important to me.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Wolfeheart Captures specializes in capturing the candid, in-between moments of a wedding day – the laughter, movement, voices, and little interactions that couples may not even realize are happening around them. I deliver those memories quickly (within 24-48 hours) so couples can relive their day while it still feels fresh.
While I love creating fun, shareable content, my work goes beyond trendy wedding reels. I specialize in 1-2 minute highlight films that tell the story of the day and allow couples to relive those memories set to music they love. I’m most proud of the trust couples and fellow wedding vendors have placed in me, and my ability to anticipate meaningful moments while working seamlessly alongside the rest of the vendor team. My goal is for couples to be fully present while I preserve the moments they’ll want to experience again and again.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I love Bend for its natural beauty, incredible wedding destinations, and close-knit community. The downside is definitely the rising cost of living, but it’s still such a special place to call home.
