Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Boskovich.
Hi Brooke , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Women’s health and fertility became my passion through my own struggles with irregular cycles, autoimmune diseases, gut troubles and fertility.
I wasn’t happy with advice to just take a pill, so I went on a mission to learn why I was having these symptoms.
With the right support, tons of research and trial and error, I learned to work with my body instead of against it.
I found the right formula of nutrition, supplements and lifestyle changes for my body based on my test results, science and how the body is meant to function.
I take this same functional & integrative approach to uncover the root cause of your symptoms so you can learn how to work with your body and optimize your fertility.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I am constantly learning from every couple that I work with. There are huge gaps in the conventional fertility protocol and research is constantly evolving so I look at every couple both with the clinical knowledge from the last 10 years but also keep an open mind as we learn together about how each individual responds to different strategies.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about The Fertility Dietitian?
I am a Functional Medicine Dietitian specializing in fertility. I help couples uncover the barriers getting in the way of how their bodies are supporting fertility and guide them to work with their bodies to support fertility and get pregnant. I have helped over 400 couples get pregnant and take home healthy babies despite years of heartache and being told the IVF was their only option. 94% of the couples I work with, take home healthy babies with this approach. About 80% of them have been given the “unexplained infertility” label- it’s never unexplained, just underexplored. Their are major gaps in the conventional fertility protocol and I am very proud of being able to support couples by filling in these gaps and helping them grow their families- largely without medical intervention which is most often prematurely recommended or recommended for the wrong reasons. I work with couples who have male factor, endometriosis, PMOS, POI or POF, recurrent miscarriage and more. My Master Your Fertility Program is where I see the most success, it is my private coaching program where we dive in much deeper to uncover fertiltiy barriers- gut health, mineral status, hormone balance, nervous system regulation, microbiome etc are looked at in both the male and the female. I have a free podcast, newsletter and digital shop with resources for learning more.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Keeping an open mind and always truly listening to the clients experience both before starting to work together as well as while they are adapting strategies in the program- it is not one size-fits all- there are many things we still don’t know about fertility and clients can help us learn more about them.
