After losing my sister, everything shifted. I found myself pausing and asking a really simple, honest question: What would actually make me happy right now?
Turns out, the answer wasn’t complicated. It came down to the little things—being able to pick the vibrant color of the wax, choosing the music playing in the background, and creating a space that just felt good to be in. At my last job, I realized I needed more room to grieve and heal than that environment could offer, so I knew it was time to build something of my own.
That’s how The Revival Wax Studio was born.
With six years as an esthetician under my belt, I wanted to build a place where you can get incredible, high-end waxing and brow care, but more importantly, a place where you can just show up exactly as you are. No pressure, no judgment—just a welcoming spot to take a breather, catch a vibe, and leave feeling like your absolute best self.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
Over the next five years, I think the industry is going to shift away from rushed, transactional appointments and move toward hyper-personalized, experience-driven care. People don’t just want a quick hair removal service anymore—they want a space where they feel seen, comfortable, and safe. Skin health is also becoming a huge priority, so I see a major rise in body skincare, like specialized ingrown treatments and barrier repair, paired with hair removal. For me, the future is all about creating boutique, high-touch environments where people can drop their guard and prioritize self-care without any judgment
