Hi Jennifer, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Spirit Sound Reiki was created from a place of heart and soul. I had a really rough upbringing and found myself through the healing sessions of Sound bath with crystal bowls, gongs, chimes and various other musical modalities. They raised my vibrational frequency to allow a lot of inner reflection and healing to occur. I also realized over time that Reiki came naturally to me with regards to energetic work. I was able to become certified as are Reiki practitioner and begin offering my services through the studio in downtown Corvallis OR.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As with any new startup business, it has had some challenges. However, I have looked at those as opportunities for growth and opportunities to use my creativity and think out of the box, but mostly to connect with the community for which I am surrounded.
As you know, we’re big fans of Spirit Sound Reiki . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Spirit Sound Reiki studio offers a weekly 1hour Sound Bath that includes Chrystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, chimes, Gongs, rain sticks, and tuning forks. The intent is to offer a relaxing moment of time to drop into stillness. There are many benefits to Sound bath and this art derives from ancient times and it’s known across the world in all cultures.
Reiki is life force energy. We are all energetic beings. Some of our traumas tend to get stuck in our bodies. There are many ways to release this trauma to allow for us to heal spiritually, physically, emotionally and mentally. Reiki is another ancient form of healing the human body and spiritual body. I also am a medium and work with Chrystals during the sessions. I offer in person and remote. We have a website Spiritsoundreiki.com which offers Calendly scheduling.
A few things that set my services above the rest, most importantly, Spirit/Source comes first in all I do. I connect my energies with the one source of us all. I offer myself as a vessel to connect those with their spirit guides, higher selves, etc.for guidance and healing. I’m not in this for the money. I’m the most cost effective in my area. My sole purpose is to help bridge people with source and bring them back to themselves. The goal is to help humanity raise their frequency to a healthy and happy one. Lastly, I truly have a passion for helping others and this path will always be cherished by those who experience it.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
Putting myself out into the communities! For so long I didn’t have the courage, didn’t feel enough self worth and value to think people would be interested to know who I am and what I can offer but, I stepped out on faith and courage one day and that was all it took! Networking lunches, events that are for business people to meet at, etc.
