Hidden Gems: Meet Kimberly Baker of Comparion Insurance Agency through Liberty Mutual

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kimberly Baker.

Hi Kimberly, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have been in Sales for about 12 years. Been a top agent in multiple companies. Just finished my Bachelor’s of Science a few months ago and am currently an Insurance Broker.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not. My adopted parents emancipated me at 16, and I had to work 3 jobs and go to school/college at the same time. Different companies have not treated me well despite me going above and beyond and I am currently looking to start my own business.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I am an Insurance Broker and specialize in all insurance except on the health side. I work with 150 carriers nationwide and we are a subsidiary of Liberty Mutual.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
I love the books “I wrote this for you” and “Watering the Soul”. I also enjoy listening to analyses of different media that I like historical videos. I love to sing, dance, play the piano, swimming and walking.
