Hi Laura, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My WordPress journey began 17 years ago with my first personal website, where a natural curiosity quickly turned into a deep enjoyment and desire to learn how to use WordPress. Over the years, I’ve gained a comprehensive understanding of WordPress on many different levels, from hosting, site maintenance, email deliverability, and the broader demands of running a successful online business in general using WordPress as a business platform.
In 2017, I acquired a WordPress support business that would evolve into LeDetailWP.com. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of supporting over 70 clients in building and maintaining their WordPress business websites.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Honestly, the road has been smoother than most—and I think that’s because the business grew so organically out of something I already loved doing. I spent so many years immersed in WordPress, learning the ins and outs through my own websites and projects, that helping other small business owners felt like a natural next step rather than a leap into the unknown.
That’s not to say there’s never a challenging day—WordPress always keeps you on your toes—but because I built my expertise gradually and let the business evolve at a natural pace, I’ve been able to navigate the bumps from a place of experience rather than uncertainty.

At LeDetailWP, I provide WordPress hosting, maintenance, and support for small business owners—the people who are pouring their hearts into their work but find themselves spending evenings and weekends wrestling with their website instead of focusing on what they actually set out to do. My whole purpose is to take that day-to-day technical headache off their plates so they can reclaim their time and get back to serving their own clients and customers.
My ideal clients are those small business owners who are still working on the weekends just trying to keep their sites running, when that time would be so much better spent growing their business. I also specialize in supporting female business owners, though I’m more than happy to work with everyone.
I think what I’m most proud of, brand-wise, is the relationship side of what I do. I’m not interested in pressuring anyone into a contract or selling them something they don’t need—my consultations are genuinely just a chance to get to know someone and their goals, and figure out whether I can help. My clients stay with me because they trust me, and many of them have been with me for years.
How do you think about happiness?
I love settling in with a good book, a cup of tea, and a few lemon cookies. But, it’s really the people and pets in my life that make me happiest—spending time with my grown children, taking long walks with my husband, and snuggling up with my cat Silas at the end of the day.
I also find a lot of happiness in staying active and giving back. Going for a run clears my head, and volunteering in our community gives me a sense of purpose beyond my work.
