Looking back, my journey has been filled with dreams, challenges, and countless lessons that have shaped who I am today.
I’ve always believed that when people feel good about themselves, it positively impacts every part of their lives. That belief inspired me to become a licensed esthetician and eventually pursue my dream of opening my own business. I wanted to create more than just a salon—I wanted to build a space where people could slow down, feel cared for, and leave with renewed confidence.
In 2022, that dream became a reality when I opened Blissful Luna Salon & Spa in Tigard, Oregon. Like many small business owners, I started with determination, hope, and a willingness to work hard. Building a business from the ground up wasn’t easy. There were moments of uncertainty, long days, and challenges that tested my confidence. Every new client, every positive review, and every word of encouragement reminded me why I started this journey and gave me the strength to keep moving forward.
One of the greatest joys of owning Blissful Luna is the relationships I’ve built with my clients. Every person who walks through my door has a unique story, and I feel honored that they trust me to be a small part of their self-care journey. Whether someone comes in to address a skincare concern or simply to take a break from life’s busy pace, my goal is always the same—to help them leave feeling happier, more confident, and truly cared for.
Being a business owner has also taught me resilience. As a wife, a mother, and an entrepreneur, I’ve learned that success isn’t measured only by milestones or growth—it’s also about having the courage to keep going, to continue learning, and to never lose sight of why you started. Every challenge has made me stronger, more compassionate, and more grateful for this opportunity.
Today, Blissful Luna Salon & Spa represents so much more than a business to me. It represents a dream that became reality through faith, perseverance, and the support of my family, clients, and community. My hope is that everyone who visits feels welcomed, valued, and leaves believing in themselves a little more than when they arrived.

It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge has helped me grow both personally and professionally.
Starting a business from scratch meant stepping into many roles at once. I wasn’t just providing skincare services—I was also learning how to manage finances, market my business, build a loyal client base, and make important business decisions. There were moments of uncertainty when I wondered if I was doing enough or if the business would grow the way I had envisioned.
As a wife, a mother, and a business owner, finding balance has also been one of my biggest challenges. There are days when family needs to come first and days when the business demands my full attention. Learning to balance both has taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, and giving myself grace.
Like many small businesses, earning the trust of new clients took time. In the beauty and wellness industry, relationships are everything. Every appointment became an opportunity to provide exceptional care, listen to my clients, and build trust one person at a time. Those relationships have become the foundation of Blissful Luna Salon & Spa.
Looking back, I realize that the obstacles weren’t roadblocks—they were opportunities to become stronger, more confident, and more resilient. They’ve taught me that success isn’t about avoiding challenges; it’s about continuing to move forward with passion, determination, and a genuine commitment to serving others. Those experiences have made me appreciate every milestone and every client who chooses to support my business.
