Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Linné Linder.
Hi Dr. Linné, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
It didn’t start with a five-year plan. It started with watching my mom get real results from an herbalist—the kind of results conventional medicine hadn’t been able to give her at the time. I remember telling that herbalist, “I want to do what you do.” She looked at me and said, “You’re young. Go further than I did. Go to medical school.” So I did.
I’ve been practicing as a naturopathic physician since 2016 and have spent the last 11 years in aesthetic medicine. For the past 4.5 years, I’ve been with SkinSpirit—a 23-year-old, privately owned practice with approximately 65 locations nationwide and one of the largest providers of Botox in the country. In addition to seeing patients, I serve on the Medical Faculty, where I train and mentor providers in consultation skills, patient safety, and advanced aesthetic techniques.
My philosophy has always been that the best aesthetic work is invisible. The highest compliment my patients can receive isn’t, “Who did your Botox?” It’s, “You look incredible—have you been on vacation?” Here in the Pacific Northwest, women aren’t looking to look different. They want to look like themselves at their very best—timeless, refreshed, and never “over-treated.”
But over and over again in my treatment room, women started bringing up the same concerns: perimenopause, stalled weight loss, declining energy, changing hormones, and feeling like they didn’t recognize themselves anymore. I realized that while I could help women look refreshed, they were also searching for the tools to feel vibrant again.
In 2019, after attending a Brendon Burchard conference, I had the clarity that I wanted to create something that addressed that bigger picture—the intersection of health, confidence, and longevity. That vision became Journey Toward Joy and eventually Transform 24, my 24-week program designed to help women over 35 build strength, improve their health, and create sustainable change—not just for a season, but for life.
Today, my work is split between two things I love: helping people look and feel confident through aesthetic medicine, and helping women rebuild their health, confidence, and identity from the inside out through coaching.
Both come from the same belief: transformation isn’t created through one big decision. It’s built through small, consistent actions that compound over time.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Has it been a smooth road?
Not even close—and I think that’s exactly why this work means so much to me today.
Early in my career, I failed my board exams six times. Around that same season, I lost a job, went through multiple breakups, gained nearly 50 pounds, and found myself struggling with a depression I didn’t yet have the language to describe. For a while, I truly believed I’d missed my opportunity to become the physician I had always wanted to be.
Instead of returning to medicine, I accepted a position as a Dean of Education. It turned out to be an incredible season of growth. I learned leadership, curriculum development, management, and what it means to help others succeed. But over time, I realized something that was difficult to admit: I hadn’t stepped away from medicine because it wasn’t my calling—I had stepped away because I was afraid of failing again.
That realization changed everything.
Ten years after leaving medicine, I resigned from my corporate position, committed to studying four hours a day for an entire year, and prepared to take my board exams one final time. Every day, I visualized opening the results and seeing that I’d passed. And when the day finally came, I passed both board exams in one sitting. It remains one of the proudest moments of my life—not because of the exams themselves, but because it proved that persistence can accomplish what fear never will.
Building Transform 24 brought another unexpected challenge. After nearly two years of research and development, I accidentally deleted every video file just one week before launch. I had to rebuild the entire program from scratch. Looking back, I’m grateful it happened because the version that launched in August 2025 was stronger, clearer, and far better than the one I lost.
Through every chapter of my journey, the greatest transformation wasn’t external—it was internal. I learned that confidence doesn’t come from compliments or accomplishments. It comes from self-trust. And self-trust is built by keeping the promises you make to yourself, especially when they’re hard. That’s the lesson that changed my life, and it’s the same lesson I now have the privilege of teaching the women I serve.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My work is really split between two complementary worlds. By day, I’m a board-certified naturopathic physician specializing in regenerative aesthetic medicine at SkinSpirit. As part of the Medical Faculty, I train and mentor providers in consultation skills, patient safety, and advanced aesthetic techniques. My focus is helping women age beautifully without looking “done.”
I believe the best aesthetic work works with the body’s natural biology to preserve what makes each woman uniquely beautiful. My goal is simple: when someone leaves SkinSpirit, I want people to notice that they look refreshed, healthy, and confident—not wonder what procedure they had.
But aesthetics were never going to be the whole story. Outside of the clinic, I educate women online about the other half of healthy aging—the things injectables can’t fix. Every day, women would sit in my treatment chair asking about perimenopause, stalled weight loss, declining muscle mass, fatigue, and hormone changes. I realized that while I could help them look refreshed, what they truly wanted was to feel like themselves again.
That realization led me to create Journey Toward Joy and my six-month coaching program, Transform 24. It combines hormone health, nutrition, strength training, mindset, and longevity strategies to help women thrive through midlife. The intersection of naturopathic medicine, regenerative aesthetics, and lifestyle transformation is where I feel I can make the greatest impact—because confidence doesn’t come from simply looking younger. It comes from feeling strong, healthy, and in control of your body again.
What I’m proudest of isn’t any single client success—although I’ve been fortunate to have many. It’s passing both board exams in one sitting after being away from academics for a decade, exactly as I had envisioned. It’s losing nearly 50 pounds and maintaining that transformation. It’s waking up at 5:00 every morning for an entire year to write The Forever Fat Burner—300 pages completed before my workday even began.
None of those accomplishments came from talent alone. They came from small, consistent actions repeated over time. That is the philosophy I teach today.
What sets me apart is that I don’t teach from theory alone. I’ve been nearly 50 pounds heavier. I’ve struggled with depression. I’ve questioned whether I had missed my opportunity to become the person I wanted to be. Today, I bring both the clinical rigor of a physician and the lived experience of a woman who rebuilt her health, her body, and her identity in her 40s.
Now, at 51, my mission is bigger than helping women age well. It’s helping them recognize that some of the strongest, healthiest, and most fulfilling years of their lives may still be ahead of them.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
A few things I feel strongly about:
I believe regenerative medicine represents the next evolution of aesthetic care. Patients are moving away from the idea of looking “treated” and toward results that work with their biology—enhancing what is already there rather than simply masking signs of aging.
Women are also becoming more informed and more proactive, often faster than the healthcare system is adapting. More women are recognizing that midlife changes—weight shifts, hormone fluctuations, declining muscle mass, and changes in energy—require a more comprehensive approach. They are looking for providers and communities that understand the full picture of aging well, not just isolated symptoms.
And then there’s GLP-1 therapy. I’m not prescribing these medications, but I work with many women who are using them. One of the biggest conversations we need to have is what happens beyond the number on the scale. With significant weight loss, maintaining muscle requires intentional strategies around protein intake, resistance training, and lifestyle support. These medications can be powerful tools, but patients need a plan that protects their long-term health—not just their weight loss.
The bigger gap, though, is what happens after the weight comes off. Very few people are teaching women how to transition from a weight-loss phase into a sustainable lifestyle that supports strength, metabolism, and longevity. That’s where I believe the future of this space is headed—not just helping women reach a goal, but teaching them how to maintain and thrive long after they get there.
That’s the reason Transform 24 exists.
