Today we’d like to introduce you to Pascha Cain.
Hi Pascha, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Before I started in Real estate, I was a senior executive at Nike and adidas leading product and brand strategy across several divisions. For more thant 23 years, I helped create product and marketing strategies based on obsessing consumer insights that shaped culture. During covid, I made a decisive shift ” I ready to stop building someone else’s dream and build my own.” This clarity led me to real estate though not in the traditional way. I began as an investor, building a portfolo of long-term and short-term rentals and renovating more than 13 properties in over 5 years. I led every part of the processf from evaluting and acquaring properties to setting the design direction to managing budgets and timelines. From there, I earned my real estate license and later general contractor license, grounding my guidance in real experience than theory. Now focused primarily on my work as a realtor, I bring a practical lens to conversations about value, timing and rennovation potential. My perspective comes from doing the work myself and learing where money is best spent. This insight shows up whether I am helping a seller decide which updates make sense or guiding a buyer to see opportunity behind dated finishes. What sets me apart is my background as a senior exectuive in brand, strategy, and negotiation paired with a deep understanding of how real estate creates long-term wealth. I approach eahc property as a strategic asset, appplying marketing, thoughtful positioning, and pricse timing to create demand and maximize value. My connection to Oregon runs deep. I grew up in Corvallis, attended the University of Oregon before beginning a career in Portland at adidas. I was later relocated to Germany and my husband Tim and I spent over a decade living in Europe, where our sons Boden and Hutson were born in the Netherlands. Returning to Oregon, we call Portland home for nearly 15 years, raising our family in Blue Pointe, a small enclave close to Forest Heights. Our family is avid skiers and spends most winter weekends at Mount Hood, where our boys strain with the Meadows Race Team. Living, buying, selling and investing in Portland has shaped how I advise clients today. I understand neighborhood nuane, school priorities and how the city has evolved.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being an entrepreneur after being a high-level executive was a major adjustment and shift. My identity was attached to being a corporate leader. I really had to work hard to reframe by idenity, self-worth as I left that old identity behind. What would people think, was a worthy enough, so many limiting beliefs. I felt I had to prove myself immediately. In addition, it was a big finanical hit to step away. Once, I started owning myself for who I am and not I do, everything started clicking.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My umbrella is real estate. I couldn’t be just a broker as I have too many interests and that’s what I love about real estate is houses all my interests. I’m have an art and science brain. I’m a visionary and creative so I love building things, creating things. leading from a vision. And simutanoesly, I’m very into buidling businesses, scaling and growing wealth. My being a broker is one facet of what I do, I’m also and investor, owing long-term and short term rentals. My husband and I also are buidling a 8 unit cottage cluster in SW Portland, working with a builder/developer team. These homes will be going on the market in summer of ’27. I’m also the co-founder of Portland Design Showhouse launching in 2027. This event will feature up and rising portland designers in one location, a historic Portland home. Each designer will have the opportunity to showcase their design philosophy in their own room. I’m most proud of taking the leap and betting on myself. By doing, I want to inspire others to do the same. I feel so many people are stuck in jobs they hate and life is too short. I’m still figuring it out as I go and far from reaching what I believe is my true potential. I do believe that if I follow my passion, keep living my truth it will all work out.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
I was a dreamer. I have ADHD, which I only learned as an adult. I’ve always aspired to be a pioneer, a leader. I day dreamed a lot and doodled a lot. I was harder worker for my grades. I loved playing sports. I have a twin sister and are complete opposites. She was into punk music and skate boarding, while I was into academics, playing on sport teams and being a “good girl”
