Life & Work with Warren Kahn of National

Today we’d like to introduce you to Warren Kahn.

Hi Warren, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Over 40 years ago I was going through a difficult marriage. A friend of mine recommended taking the More to Life Weekend then called the Life Training. To say the least it completely changed my perspective for all that life brings, and began the journey of healing, letting go of behaviors that did not serve me and gave me the tools and life skills to create the best quality life I was seeking.

I am now 76 years old. In love with my beloved wife, Lisa, successful in multiple careers, healthy and active, and continue to offer all I have learned along the way to those who seek to improve their lives and have a more fulfilling life experience.

I have been a senior trainer for the More To Life Foundation for almost 30 years where I have successfully delivered personal growth courses in many cities in the US as well as the UK, South Africa, New Zealand and Jamaica. moretolife, org

The things that sets us apart from most other personal growth groups or life coaches are a unique way to align with life and a practical set of unique life tools that can be mastered and applied to everyday experiences.

If you are seeking ways to improve your life, More To Life and Warren Kahn Life Coaching are powerful options.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Life provides many challenges for human beings me included. I have had times of financial struggle, mortality of loved ones, a divorce, the Covid pandemic, partnerships that did not work out, family estrangement, aging and more.

I thank life for leading me to More To Life where I learned ways to engage with every difficult moment and to bring my best to the situation, and at the same time learn to let go of proving my worth, forcing outcomes, resistance to what was really happening, abdication, and getting overwhelmed by the exaggerated fears generated by my mind.

When one of my business enterprises was failing, I was honest with my banking institution, and creditors, and over time was able to pay off the debt and not go bankrupt. For me it was a matter of integrity. Through that episode I learned so many valuable business lessons that have and continue to serve me in many professional activities.

When I was caught in an enormous rip tide in the ocean in South Africa, I let go of the struggle where I was drowning myself in panic. Instead I surrendered to what I could not control even in the face of death and allowed the ocean to take me. The inextricable result was I was delivered miraculously to the shore. A real life example of trust and letting go of resistance. That life changing event and outcome has strengthened my faith, and taught me to align with what life brings instead of fighting it. This way of being has been a significant factor in the quality of life I experience daily.

During one of the economic recessions, I stayed faithful and supportive of my employees at my own cost. I held them as my family. In the end we all survived that difficult straight and created an everlasting bond between us.

Just a few of the struggles along the way.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
