Meet Joseph Franco of Americana

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joseph Franco.

Hi Joseph, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
-worked years in kitchens in California, grandparents are restauranteurs
-moved to Oregon in the middle of covid, in the middle of winter, with a food cart we purchased through life insurance from my father’s passing
-sold almost nothing and almost closed down
-powered through and moved from one parking lot to another
-eventually made it to the best food cart lot in Bend after the owner tried us out
-grew into a brick and mortar downtown, now running 2 locations

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Covid, having 3 children, losing guys to other careers and life paths have been the most difficult
expanding and having close to 20 employees can make things more difficult as well

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?

we are proud of being known for being clean, fun, inviting and straight to the point
